Why should I listen to or respect your opinion?
What makes it equally or more valid then mine?

You would listen to me from mere politeness. brbrYou would respect my opinions only when you have analyzed them enough to come to the conclusion that I make valid ones, even though they may not agree with yours.brbrAnd if it can be proven that I am talking from more experience in the particular subject, that would make my opinion as equally or even more valid than your own.
