Im sure youll get plenty of answers from people claiming to know that God either exists or doesnt. None of them know. Some believe, others dont. Some actually think they know. They are delusional, and ignorant. Everyone has their reasons for believing what they believe. Myself? I deal with the fact that I dont know. He can we even call God he? Why do so many people call him he? What use does God have for a penis? Wouldnt God be it? MIGHT exist, and if he does, I am fairly certain he would understand my skepticism.brbrTo answer your other question, God can coexist with suffering, for several of the reasons the believers have probably pointed out in their responses. It can come of our free will, or out of some necessity that we are unable to comprehend.

I think people hate it because, other people are trying to make it the biggest thing ever, and people just keep pushing it. I really enjoyed the books even though they are not my favorite books out there. So I wouldnt say that I hate it, I just hate the people that wont stop fussing over it. They practically worship it. If people want to say I love twilight, then by all means say it. Its a free world. Just dont go into fan mode and bug people about it. Thats whats causing people to become Twilighthaters.

Why would they ban me from the bookstore??
So I was in the bookstore and bought some coffee yesterday and then I grabbed a book off the shelf to read while I drank it. Well, it was a good book, so I read the entire thing and was there for like hours. I accidentally spilled some coffee on it a couple times, but I didnt think anything of it. I put the book back and the lady stopped me at the door and said I had to pay for the book. I said no way I already paid for cups of coffee. And she told me she would call the police, so I told her if she did I would punch her in the face. Then she told me to get out and never come back and when I was about a block away I saw a cop car pull up in front of the store. Dont you think that lady was being just a LITTLE irrational? What is wrong with some people?

Why would God do this to us?
I realize, that God meant for better things from us, but why on earth would he allow all the pain and suffering if he already knew how things would be? Why even bother. Is God in charge of this place or satan??? Does prayer really work??

Answer

We have pain and suffering because of our own choices in life, and because of sin. God does not cause this, but he gets us through these hard times if we keep him in our hearts and ask for his help.
